Marc E. Montalbine heads deKieffer & Horgan's office in Saarbrücken, Germany.  He specializes in the representation of European companies in trade disputes with the United States, including antidumping duty, countervailing duty and safeguard actions. 

From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Montalbine served as a trial attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, representing the United States government in international trade cases brought before the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. 

Mr. Montalbine is a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.  In 1995, he completed a special course of studies in European Union Law at the University of Saarland. 

Mr. Montalbine is admitted to the practice of law in Virginia and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
